We are RAOA

RAOA was established in 2024 as a safeguarding consultancy service. It takes its name from the Old Norse word “to advise” — a fitting reflection of our purpose. RAOA exists to help education and healthcare settings, sports clubs, faith-groups and other organisations to strengthen their safeguarding preparedness and response in an increasingly complex world.

Our mission is simple yet vital: to empower communities with the knowledge, training, strategies and confidence to keep themselves safe. As safeguarding poses ongoing and evolving challenges the need for an informed, proactive approach to safeguarding and child protection has never been greater.
